Hi, I’m John from Bailey Pest Control.

What I’m going to do is show you a typical text book scenario of a Rat entering a property via a defective drain.

In this situation the rodding eye cap is missing and the U-Bend is completely blocked with effluent and gravel from where the rats have dug up into the kitchen and displaced all the soil, text book scenario of Rats entering a property via a defective drain system
Earlier I removed a bucket full of grit and sand and gravel, as you can see this is what the drain should look like with rodding eye cap and the U Bend underneath, we’re going to put a cap in there and that’ll be the problem sorted.

As you can see the problem’s been solved, water’s running freely into the U Bend and the rodding eye cap’s fitted.
